The property was quiet, with really helpful staff and a lovely location on the river. The hotel was close to all the great things above the actual accommodation as well as a Safari at 6:00 in the morning. It was a 10-minute drive from Udawalawa Elephant Orphanage.

We stayed at this beautiful bungalow surrounded by a lovely garden with birds and monkeys. The location was perfect and very close to the National Park. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even arranging a car for our onward journey. The room had good Wi-Fi and a comfortable bed, and we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. Plus, the lady of the house cooked us a delicious dinner at a very reasonable price!
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was improving the water pressure and temperature in the shower.

Absolutely mind-blowing jungle retreat that exceeded all our expectations. Super friendly and accommodating staff organized an incredible safari experience with an expert driver who spotted even the tiniest animals. The lush and delicious meals were the best we had in Sri Lanka. Our clean and comfortable room provided a cozy sanctuary in the midst of a mini rainforest. Switching off from wifi and enjoying the peaceful surroundings was a joy. Don't forget the bug spray for those pesky mosquitoes. Highly recommended!

I had a truly memorable stay at a hidden gem nestled in the jungle. The hosts at this charming homestead went above and beyond to make me feel like family, welcoming me with refreshing drinks upon arrival. The natural beauty surrounding the place was breathtaking, and the clean and comfortable rooms provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The highlight of my visit was the safari led by an amazing guide who was not only knowledgeable but also passionate about wildlife. The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing the flavors of the region. I was even treated to a tour of the resort's own garden where they grow a wide variety of plants and spices. my experience at this unique place was humbling and lovely, and I would highly recommend it for an exceptional stay and an unforgettable elephant safari.
Although the accommodations were clean and comfortable, there was no air conditioning, which could be a drawback during hot weather. However, it didn't diminish my overall enjoyment of the stay.
